The event was opened by Mayor Lianne Dalziel and featured arts and crafts, equestrian, livestock events and speed shearing, with dog high jump being a crowd favourite. Simon Gault from MasterChef NZ was one of the judges for the Peninsula on a Plate competition and the Banks Peninsula mystery box cook-off, which was won by Lyttelton’s Louis Dyer.
