BEACH BAR
RESTAURANTS
Wet Stories – Located on Perivolos Long Beach, near Perissa. Make a
reservation in advance for both sunbeds and tables, especially for larger
groups. While there are many beach bars, this one stood out for its ability
to accommodate a crowd. Bonus: the lounge chairs are inflatable
beds—very cool and comfortable.
HOTELS
If you’re looking for the full Santorini experience, stay in the town of Oia.
It’s more expensive than other towns, but worth it—you’ll be in the heart
of the island and close to the famous sunset lookout at the edge of
town.
Canaves Oia Suites – My favorite! A beautiful, luxury stay with stunning
views.
WINE
• Koutsogianopoulos Winery – Features a fascinating wine museum. A
great option if you have extra time.
• Santos Winery – A personal favorite! Book a wine tasting for around
7:30 PM—perfect for watching the sunset over the caldera.
• Argyros Estate – One of the most well-known Santorini wine labels,
especially for its Vinsanto.

Sunset Oia Catamaran
Contact: George Georgoulas – +30 2286 072200
We’ve done both the morning cruise and the sunset sail—both are
amazing. I highly recommend it! Call ahead and book a private charter
for a few hours. They also cook a full meal onboard. We do this every
time we visit, and it never gets old.
EXTRA TIPS
• The Tomatoes – Absolutely delicious! Grown in volcanic soil, they’re
rich in flavor.
• Shopping in Oia – Get ready—there’s a lot to explore.
• Getting Around – While scooters are everywhere, taxis or hotelarranged
shuttles are just as easy and more relaxing. I’ve personally
never needed a scooter.
• Sunset Viewpoint in Oia – Don’t miss it! There’s a famous cliffside
spot where everyone gathers to watch the sunset.
• Footwear – Oia’s cobblestone streets make walking in heels difficult.
Stick to wedges or flats unless you’re very confident in stilettos… lol!
