Lost Star is a silhouette animation created by DCU Multimedia students Ian Goode, Cian Mac Mahon & Ross O’Neill.
Lost Star is the story of a lone astronaut who leaves behind his wife and son to undertake a daring mission to discover the mysteries of outer space.
However shortly after take-off his spacecraft begins to malfunction many thousands of miles above Earth. As he perilously begins to repair his craft, a meteorite smashes into the side of the ship, sending the lone adventurer floating helplessly away into the dark, lonely depths of space.
