Van Norman Objective I have worked on the powertrain side of engineering for 8 years as an engineering tech and an emissions tech. Currently I am a Field Service Engineer with Horiba in their Automotive Test Systems division. Earned my associates degree in 2003 and put my B.A.S. on hold for family reasons at the time. During my time at The Milford Proving Grounds I worked very closely with some great calibration engineers, and from that time on I knew that I wanted to work in the field of future vehicle emissions. My goal is to secure a position maintaining a labs emissions equipment and psible day to day operations or as a calibration assistant or entry level engineer. I have done a lot of work with INCA and MDA as well as ETAS hardware and have a solid mechanical background in the automotive field. I feel that my testing and mechanical background along with my continuing education; I could be an asset as a calibrator in the near future. While at Bosch, I have worked with some very intelligent engineers who know their field very well and I have been learning from them on a daily basis. I am ready to step into the engineering side of this field. Powertrain engineering has been a career that I really enjoy and I look forward furthering my career with a new opportunity as an engineer.
