Centennial College alumni making waves 

ruudi productions is a dynamic team of four passionate 

filmmakers who have forged their own path in the world 

of production. Specializing in commercials, 

testimonials, short documentaries, and online course 

videos, they excel in creating captivating short-form 

content tailored to your business needs. 

At ruudi productions, their mission is simple: to turn 

your ideas into powerful videos. They approach each 

project with genuine care and dedication, striving not 

only to meet but to exceed your expectations. Their 

goal is to deliver a final product that fills you with pride. 

At Centennial College, we take immense pride in 

celebrating the achievements of our alumni who have 

ventured into the professional world, making significant 

contributions and creating a lasting impact. One such 

inspiring success story is that of ruudi productions, a 

dynamic production company founded by our talented 

alumni Hedy Läets, Ashley Marciano, 

Nick Morsillo, and Alejandro Ruiz 

Birke. This team has not only 

established a thriving business but 

has also fostered a unique and fruitful 

partnership with Centennial College, 

embodying the spirit of mentorship, 

collaboration, and excellence. 

From classroom to creation: 

The rise of ruudi productions 

ruudi productions was born from the ambition and 

creativity of its founders, all of whom are proud 

graduates of Centennial College's Broadcasting – 

Radio, Television, Film and Digital Media program. 

Their journey began within the walls of our institution, 

where they honed their skills, nurtured their passions, 

and built the foundation for their future enterprise. 

Professor Karen Shopsowitz, a 

distinguished faculty member at 

Centennial College, remembers the 

inception of ruudi productions vividly. 

She reflects, “when I first learned that 

my former students had established 

their own company, my reaction was 

perfect! It’s great knowing the 

students from our program have 

started their own companies and have 

had an opportunity to do work for the 

College, as a client.” This transition from students to 

entrepreneurs is a testament to the quality of 

education and training provided at Centennial College. 

Karen adds, “Hedy has all the skills and the personality 

to do this and the same can be said for the classmates 

involved in the company. This is a company I will 

continue to recommend, along with other companies 

that have come out of our program.” The success of 

ruudi productions underscores the high level of talent 

and professionalism that our graduates bring to the 

industry. 

Showcasing success through storytelling 

ruudi productions has become a preferred vendor for 

Centennial College’s Marketing team, working on 

numerous video production projects that showcase the 

College’s strengths and achievements. 

ruudi productions recently collaborated with the Office 

of Industry Engagement and Graduate Employment, 

working closely with Rachel Polsinelli, Partnerships 

Development Coordinator. Rachel shares 

her experience working with ruudi 

productions: “we collaborated with ruudi 

productions on the Industry Engagement 

Campaign, a project designed to 

showcase the success stories of our 

partnerships. The work we did with ruudi 

focused on five esteemed partners of 

Centennial.” 

Scholarships 

The Industry Engagement Campaign was 

a significant project that aimed to capture the essence 

of Centennial College’s collaborations with industry 

partners. Rachel Polsinelli explains, “ruudi productions 

handled the video production, capturing the essence of 

these collaborations and highlighting the impactful
