In this statement the ‘to’ of the infinitive was simply removed to conjugate the verb for ‘you’. In Spanish, verb conjugation is much more obvious. Let’s take a look. 31
- 32. 32 Infinitive verbs in Spanish •All infinitive verbs in Spanish end in –ar, -er, or –ir. •The –ar,-er, and –ir are the equivalent of the ‘to’ in English infinitives.

The following are some instructions on navigating through this tutorial. First, click the the arrow located on the bottom right of the screen to move forward through the program. If you wish to return to a previous slide click the back arrow in the bottom left of the screen. You are able to use these throughout the tutorial with the exception of the quizzes at the end of each section. In order to advance to the next level you must pass the quiz. If you make mistakes getting to the end of any one of the quizzes you should click the back arrow to review the material in that section. Notice, how in Spanish you don’t really need to state the subject because you can already tell who the subject is just by looking at and hearing the ending.
