• Similar properties as that of diesel but green fuel
PROCESS FLOW DIAGRAM
• Less expensive method yet useful and environmental

• Free fatty acid contents reduced to 1%
• Insulation of storage tanks and pipe-lines would need to
be done at low temp zone.
• Polluted water needs to be treated first and then used
• Storage tanks made of aluminum, steel etc. Are
recommended for usage.

Jatropha is a bush that grows in regions around the
equator as raw material to convert it into biodiesel
