Web Content Development's Importance
Almost every day, I come across websites that haven't been
adequately designed. In some circumstances, the aim of the website is
unclear, and the business services aren't well defined. In other
circumstances, the content is out of sync with the design due to
inadequate planning and construction. Many more websites are
obsolete and have never been updated or maintained on a regular basis.
Businesses who are serious about their online presence and want to
gain a strong foothold in the online marketplace should prioritise web
content production. Whether you need a simple three-page website or a
complex site with a lot of material, taking the time to produce excellent
content that helps your business achieve its goals can make the process
easier and more profitable.
FOUR PHASES OF WEB CONTENT
1. CONCEPT:
Concepts start with an idea or a vision, but they also need to be useful. This
step is when you define the goal of your web content development
strategy.
2. PLAN:
The most crucial aspect is planning. Begin by determining what web
material is absolutely necessary to fulfil your objectives, and then include
that into a design strategy.
3. BUILD:
When you build, you're putting your concept and plan into action.
4. LAUNCH:
It happens in a split second. Your website goes live after months of online
content development, website design, and content writing (or relaunches).
Some launches are quieter than others
NEED FOR THE STUDY
The need for the study is to know more about the content development,
management and distribution in a website and it is a way to create a
good content and develop to engage with target audience.
By creating, developing, managing and distributing content in a website,
we can have a better chance to find our website on search engine. The
management and development can be useful to increase the sales of our
content effectively. This also helps us to know more about distribution of
content in website. Content development is both a workmanship and a
science. It requires content makers to can comprehend their ideal interest
group, realize how content is consumed, and have the option to make
content that impacts them.
Paid channels allude to when your company pays to circulate your content
on certain channels. This basically includes pay-per-click (PPC), paid
social notices, and paid force to be reckoned with content.
SCOPE OF THE STUDY
The scope for Web Content Management (WCM) software is getting
“narrower" because the case for higher-end WCM platforms is
increasingly rare as consumers interact digitally with brands beyond
websites. Tony Byrne, CEO and founder of Real Story Group, shared
those thoughts in a blog post last month and interview with CMS Wire
about the future of WCM.
Competing WCM platform vendors Acquia (Vista Equity Partners, $1
billion, 2019), EPiServer (Insight Venture Partners, $1.16 billion, 2018)
and Sitecore (EQT, $1.14 billion, 2016) each received billion
investments from private equity firms in the last four years.
Because higher-end WCM platforms are becoming increasingly rare
as customers connect digitally with brands outside websites, the scope
of Web Content Management (WCM) software is becoming
"narrower." Last month, Tony Byrne, CEO and creator of Real Story
Group, expressed his opinions on the future of WCM in a blog post
and an interview with CMS Wire.
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
• To study about the company profile as well as industry
profile.
• To develop the content in the website with help of content
management system. To manage the content for website
through CMS software.
• To distribute the content in the social media platforms for
creating better branding and for selling.
METHODOLOGY OF THE STUDY
The data has been collected from secondary sources such as internet, books,
magazines etc. Basically, data sources are two types:
1.Primary Sources
The data has been collected from respondence directly.
Here we are using questionnaire. Example:
Questionnaire, Interviews etc. but right now I am not
collecting any primary data.
2.Secondary Sources
This is second hand data which is available
from the internet. Example:
Periodicals, internet etc.
LIMITATION OF THE STUDY
1.
2.
3.
The data has been collected from the Secondary Sources.
The study is limited to only four weeks.
Unfortunately, I did not collect some information related to the
company
INDUSTRY PROFILE
BING:
Microsoft Bing (also known as Bing) is a Microsoft-owned and
controlled web search engine. Microsoft's prior search engines, MSN Search,
Windows Live Search, and later Live Search, gave birth to the service. Bing
offers a number of different search services, including web, video, picture, and
map search. ASP.NET is used to create it.
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer announced Bing, the company's
replacement for Live Search, on May 28, 2009, at the things Digital conference
in San Diego, California, with a release date of June 3, 2009. The listing of
search suggestions while queries are submitted and a list of related searches
(named "Explore pane") based on semantic technology from Powerset, which
Microsoft had acquired in 2008, were notable new features at the time. Bing
will power Yahoo! Search, according to a partnership announced by Microsoft
and Yahoo! in July 2009. In 2012, Yahoo! completed the move.
YAHOO!
Yahoo is a web service provider based in the United
States. It is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, and is
run by Yahoo! Inc., which is 90 percent owned by Apollo
Global investment funds and 10% by Verizon
Communications.
Yahoo was founded in January 1994 by Jerry Yang
and David Filo and was one of the early Internet pioneers in
the 1990s. However, when Facebook Groups and Google
gained market share in the late 2000s, usage fell.
Yang and Filo were graduate students in electrical engineering
at Stanford University when they created "Jerry and David's guide to
the World Wide Web" in January 1994. Rather than a searchable
index of pages, the site was a human-edited web directory organised
in a hierarchy. "Jerry and David's Guide to the World Wide Web" was
renamed "Yahoo!"
March 1994, and the Yahoo Directory was born. On January
18, 1995, the domain ‘yahoo.com" was registered. On March 2, 1995,
Yahoo was founded. Yahoo Search, a search engine function, was
introduced in 1995.
Users were able to search the Yahoo Directory as a result of this.
Yahoo quickly rose to prominence as the first popular online directory
and search engine on the Internet.
During the 1990s, Yahoo grew at a breakneck pace. Yahoo went
public in April 1996 with an initial public offering, and its stock price
increased 600% in two years. Yahoo, like many other search engines
and online directories, launched a web portal, putting it in direct rivalry
with Excite, Lycos, and America Online. By 1998, Yahoo had become
the most popular online portal and the human-edited Yahoo Directory
had become the most popular search engine, with 95 million page views
per day, more than quadruple that of rival Excite.
ASK.COM:
Garrett Gruner and David Warthen launched Ask.com (formerly
known as Ask Jeeves) in Berkeley, California in 1996 as a question-
answering e-business. Gary Chevsky designed the initial software,
which he then implemented. The early AskJeeves.com website was
created around the core engine by Warthen, Chevsky, Justin Grant, and
others. The moniker "Jeeves" was discarded in 2006, and the company
refocused on its search engine, which had its own algorithm
In late 2010, the firm outsourced its web search technology and
returned to its roots as a question-and-answer site, citing
insurmountable competition from more popular search engines like
Google. In 2010, Douglas Leeds was promoted from president to
CEO.
Highland Capital Partners, Institutional Venture Partners, and The
RODA Group were among the first investors. InterActiveCorp (IAC)
owns Ask.com, which trades on the NASDAQ under the ticker
Nasdaq: IAC. Its corporate headquarters are at 555 City Center in the
Oakland City Centre development in downtown Oakland, California.

• Sergey Brin
Headquarters 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California, U.S.
Google’s founders have often maintained that the firm is just interested in search. They founded a corporation on the principle that work
should be difficult and enjoyable. To that end, Google’s culture is unlike any other in business, and it has nothing to do with the ubiquitous lava
lamps and huge rubber balls, nor with the fact that the company’s chef used to cook for the Grateful Dead. In the same manner that Google
prioritises users when it comes to our online service, Google Inc. prioritises employees in our Googleplex headquarters. Individual
accomplishments that contribute to the company’s overall performance are emphasised, as well as collective achievements.
Ideas are traded, tested, and implemented with a frenzy that can be exhausting. Meetings that would normally take hours are often reduced
to a talk in line for lunch, and there are minimal barriers between those who develop the code and those who write the checks. The fact that
millions of people rely on Google results fuels productivity and camaraderie in this highly communicative atmosphere. Give a group of people
who want to make a difference the right tools, and they will.
The company now admits was not a good choice), was changed to Google, a variation on “googol”—the number one followed by 100
zeroes—representing the number of options the search engine would provide. Google Inc. was founded in 1998 and has rapidly expanded since
then, delivering Google News in 2002, Gmail in 2004, Google Maps in 2005, Google Chrome in 2008, and a slew of other widely used
products.
Working at Google has received great praise from many angles, and it sometimes appears as if the firm goes to extraordinary lengths to
make employees happy, such as the previously unheard-of choice to offer a death benefit: If a U.S. employee dies, the surviving spouse or
domestic partner will receive a cheque for half of the deceased’s annual wage for the next ten years. Google can be very picky about who it
hires, and it is. Every year, the organisation receives roughly two million employment applications, with only about 0.5 percent of them being
hired. So, while Google exclusively hires the finest of the best, its jobs are well worth the effort.
Google underwent a corporate restructuring on October 2, 2015, and became an Alphabet subsidiary. Please see the Alphabet profile for
further information. Google is a search engine, cloud computing, software, and hardware company that specialises in Internetrelated services
and products, such as online advertising technology, a search engine, cloud computing, software, and hardware. Connected Home, Daydream
View, Gmail, Google Duo, Google Play, Google+, Waze, and YouTube are some of the goods available to the general public. Ad Mob, Blogger,
G Suite, Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, Google Trends, Hire, Optimize, and Waze Local are some of the company’s commercial
offerings.
It's a search engine, and it's called Google. Android, Chrome, Gmail, Google Drive,
Google Maps, Google Play, and YouTube are all important products and platforms for Google. Performance Advertising makes income by
creating and delivering relevant advertising that people click on, whereas Brand Advertising allows businesses to execute ad campaigns to
enhance brand awareness. In addition, advertisers can use Google Display Network to create a custom network of websites using a variety of
targeting tools. Alphabet Inc., which owns Google, is a holding corporation that also owns Calico and is interested in life sciences. In 1995, at
Stanford University, the Google storey began.
