At the end of the lesson 80% of the class will be ableto:

1. State the message of the poem read
B. Support Skills
1. Arrive at the meaning of difficult words through context clues
2. Identify the writer’s purpose and message in writing the poem
3. Draw out relevant concepts from the poem and relate them to one’s experience
through SGD

Directions: Read the following sentences carefully. Match difficult terms under Column
