Our VP of Business Development and Marketing, Chris Joyce, attended Web Summit Vancouver 2025 last week—a fantastic event!
That's a wrap on Web Summit Vancouver 2025! An incredible week of reconnections and new relationships with founders, VCs, corporate leaders, government officials, and partners from across the innovation ecosystem. The level of energy, insight, and opportunity packed into just a few full days :) was exceptional. One of the major highlights for me was the overwhelming interest in CENGN - (Centre of Excellence in Next Generation Networks)'s Pan-Canadian Living Lab initiative. We are proud to be supporting Canadian SMBs with funding and value added services to fast-track the development and deployment of market ready solutions. Here are a few key takeaways from the week: 💡Collaboration is key: Scaling transformative technologies demands deep public-private partnerships. When governments and businesses align on shared goals, the pace and impact of innovation accelerates dramatically. 💡The race is on: Local governments are competing to attract top entrepreneurial talent and fuel the next generation of AI and advanced industries. Thank you to everyone who made this week so amazing. The momentum is real and we are just getting started. #WebSummit2025 #Innovation #LivingLab #Startups #PublicPrivatePartnership #TechPolicy #AI #CanadianTech
