Proposed names for the Road name register: rationale and consultation

Names that do not comply with the Road Naming Policy requirements will not be considered to be added to the Road name register. Please note the following:

  • - Names proposed for the Road name register must comply with the appropriateness criteria of the Road Naming Policy and there are some cases to avoid.
  • - Evidence of consultation must be submitted where required
  • - Names must be spelled correctly and be shorter than 15 characters
