PETITION TO THE Dunedin City Council 

We the undersigned demand that the DCC takes action now and makes this crossing safe for cyclists, pedestrians, scooters, etc. 

Cyclists are asked to cross four lanes of traffic at this notorious part of their commute to and from work or school every day. During rush hour this undertaking becomes incredibly dangerous and we as a cycling community are really worried for our safety.

Our main concerns are:

Poor visibility 
Speed of traffic
Crossing of four lanes to be able to turn into Portobello Road or continuing onto Portsmouth Drive.

We need some action and we need it now - before someone gets seriously hurt.
